The Texas Poker Store staff loves the beginning of summer because it means that the battle for the final nine of the World Series of Poker begins taking shape and TPS begins its summer discounts.
College Station, Texas June 25, 2013
Jim Paris, Chief Dealer of the Texas Poker Store reported that their WSOP special discount last year was very successful and vowed to turn it into an annual tradition.
“We had so many requests from friends, customers and fans wanting a repeat of last year’s special WSOP discounts that we felt we had no choice” Paris said.
Last year TPS offered a 10% discount on all poker chips and poker chip sets from the Texas Poker Store, including all chip cases, carousels, and chip trays. For its second annual World Series of Poker special discounts, this year the Texas Poker Store is pulling out all stops by offering a 10% discount on every item in stock to celebrate summertime and the 44th Annual World Series of Poker.
“But it doesn’t stop there,” Paris said. “Watching the 44th Annual World Series of Poker inspired us to come up with a bigger offering to celebrate our continued growth as well as the amazing growth in popularity of the WSOP.
“So, besides just offering the summertime discount on every product that is in stock, we’re also offering an additional 10% discount on any of our folding poker tables in stock to the first nine poker players who claim their poker table before this year’s final nine WSOP players are confirmed by the end of July,” Paris added.
The Texas Poker Store is also continuing its hunt for the perfect “Poker Face” or poker-related photo submitted by their customers, friends and fans through their ongoing Facebook photo contest. This contest started on June1 and will run to the end of August. Prizes will be awarded each month, plus there will be a Grand Prize Winner chosen by TPS in September.
As was reported last month, all monthly winners will be published on all the TPS social channels, including FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Stumbleupon. TPS will leave it up to their social media followers to decide who should make the “final table” and, ultimately, who should be declared the “Grand Prize” winner.
