Jim Paris, owner of the Texas Poker Store, is happy for the opportunity to emcee and contribute to Peter Madden’s poker tournament for 20 players and their guests, a unique prize to be bid on at the Signature Chef Auction To Support March of Dimes at Traditions Club on October 11, 2012 in Bryan, Texas.
College Station, Texas (PRWEB) September 26, 2012
Owner and Executive Chef of Madden’s Casual Gourmet in downtown Bryan, Peter Madden, is Lead Chef for the March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction, a charity event on October 11th, 2012 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas. Each of the seven participating chefs for the event has contributed a unique experience for guests to bid on in the Live Auction, and Madden’s creative package consists of a Poker Tournament for 20 players and 20 guests to be hosted at Madden’s.
That’s why the general manager for Madden’s, Cara Cook, contacted Jim Paris, owner of the Texas Poker Store. “We knew we needed the involvement of someone from the Bryan/College Station area who could not only provide poker expertise, but also the poker chips, cards, and other items necessary to hold a tournament of that size. We’d seen their online poker supply store, and knew they were the ones to approach,” Cook added.
“The Texas Poker Store was more than happy to provide whatever we needed, including three expert dealers for the event,” Cook continued. “And after meeting with Paris, Chef Madden and I were convinced that he would be the ideal emcee for the tournament, and he immediately agreed to do it.”
The March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction will be a culinary event to remember. But the winner of the Poker Tournament prize to be held at Madden’s will be in for a real treat. With the coordination and co-management of Paris and the Texas Poker Store, they will have the opportunity to participate in a high-class, authentic poker tournament, complete with prizes for each of the 20 players and a grand prize – a watch donated by David Gardner’s Jewelers, valued at $900.
“I am looking forward to the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Live Auction,” Paris stated. “and I can’t wait to emcee the poker tournament at Madden’s Casual Gourmet. Imagine having a great time while also making a contribution to such a worthy cause. As we say around the poker table, it’s an opportunity for the Texas Poker Store to go ‘all in’.”
