Here’s an intriguing concept you might not have heard about yet. Global Poker is bringing fun, live poker events to Major League Baseball (MLB) stadiums across the country and it makes perfect sense. As Joseph Del Duca, Head of Communications and Social Media at Global Poker said, “Baseball is America’s favorite pastime. Poker is America’s favorite game” so why not put the two together?

In fact, the first official Global Poker and MLB event recently took place at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros. Poker tables were set up inside the stadium for game attendees (ticket holders) to play some hands. Baseball fans got the chance to try their hands at playing poker, while more experienced poker players had a blast trying to win cool prizes and have some fun before the baseball game. It sure looks like a win-win for everybody!

On September 14th, at AT&T Park, the San Francisco Giants played the Colorado Rockies. Once again, Global Poker was there to give baseball fans a tantalizing taste of poker, with free merch provided by Global Poker and the San Francisco Giants.

Global Poker could be coming to a MLB stadium near you. The question is: Are you ready for some pre-game poker the next time you attend a baseball game?
