Jodie SandersAfter almost four hours of a Heads-Up Match between Jodie Sanders and Jordan Hufty at this year’s customary WSOP Event #1 – $565 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold’em, and after dreaming about this for the last 15 years, his dreams came true as he finally defeated Sanders and walked away with $61,909 and his very first WSOP Bracelet, the first bracelet of the 2018 series.Jordan Hufty

The winning hand came at Hand #190 when Hofty opened with a raise to 80,000 but Sanders moved all in for 720,000 which, naturally made Hufty gulp for a second before calling with K Clubs and Q Diamonds . Sanders showed a pair of 3s Clubs and Hearts and both waited for the flop  of 10 Spades, 9 Spades and 2 Diamonds. The turn, a 7 Diamonds, was no help to either player. The river spelled Sanders defeat when the K Hearts gave Hufty a pair of cowboys. Sanders still walked away with a nice fat paycheck of $38,246 for two days of fun and games or work, whichever way you want to look at it.
