Time For The Aggies To Take On The Crimson Tide

Saturday, November 10, 2012

In a few hours the 7-2 Fightin’ Texas Aggie football team will take on the 9-0 Alabama Crimson Tide, the number one team in the country. When Texas A&M joined the SEC, most predicted it would take a few years until the Aggies would be able to compete successfully in the “League of Champions.” Very few imagined how impressive their debut in the SEC would be, or that they’d be playing in a highly meaningful game in November against Alabama. But here we are, playing at 2:30, with the eyes of the nation focused on the Aggies, Johnny Football, the explosive Aggie offense and the surprisingly tough Aggie defense, heading into a game with huge consequences for either team, but especially the Aggies. Win or lose against undefeated Bama, however, it has been an amazing journey under head coach Kevin Sumlin. And we’re going all in with our poker chips for the Aggies to win, in the biggest upset of the 2012 football season.
