There is a lot of music out there that has been  influenced by gambling, card playing and a whole lot by poker. There are blues  songs, rock & roll songs, country, pop and rap songs. There are some very serious songs with sad bluesy stories and then there are some hilarious songs like this one by the late country singer-songwriter, actor (Coach Red Beaulieu – The Waterboy) Jerry Reed – “The Uptown Poker Club”. This little story is about a poker player who has been playing with some shifty characters and always loses until the day he sets up his own rules.

Now, when you’re setting up your next poker game you might wanna do as Jerry says and break out another deck of them bicycle playing cards and get on with business….Play Poker.
