It’s only June 9 and there are already 15 new WSOP champions wearing their well-earned WSOP bling . . . aka the 2012 WSOP gold bracelet. Not to mention the few dollars they each put in their pockets . Our hearty congratulations go out to all the latest winners including:
Brian Hastings who won Event 12: $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em and bagged his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet along with a $371,498 pay day.
David Arsht took Event 13: $1,500 Limit Hold’em to win his first gold bracelet and a sweet $211,921 payoff .
Brandon Schaefer was the winner of Event 14: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout, along with his first WSOP bracelet and a pot of gold worth $311,174.
Adam Friedman conquered Event 15: $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8-or-Better, his first career WSOP bracelet and a total of $269,037. This had to have been the most exciting event that Friedman ever played. After all, he defeated Eli Elezra, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, and Todd Brunson even as Todd’s dad Doyle stood by and watched his son go down in flames.
We’ll come back with more updates soon, but for right now we’re on our way to the cage to cash in our poker chips.
