Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, a living legend by any ones count, does it again. He wins Event #45:$50,000 Poker Players Championship again, last year Mizrachi won the same exact event for his second gold bracelet. This year he takes a paycheck of $1,451,527 and his third gold bracelet to add to his collection. Mizrachi well deserves the nickname “The Grinder”, and his grinding style has paid off more than 15 million in his poker grinding career. Congratulations Mr. Mizrachi.

Joey Weissman was declared the winner of Event #46: No-Limit Hold’em after taking down a field of 1,607. Weissman knocked out Jeremy Quehen with an Ace high flush in the final heads up for all the marbles which added up to $694,609 plus his first shiny, beautiful WSOP gold bracelet.

Steven Loube was officially crowned the winner of Event #47: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split 8-or-Better. Loube grabbed the 47th gold bracelet of the 2012 WSOP and his very first bracelet in his first-ever WSOP event, along with $267,345 of mad money. Not too shabby for this 34 year old attorney from Atlanta, Georgia who’s biggest win before was a $50 gift certificate.

Kenny Hsiung is the winner of Event #48: $3,000 Limit Hold’em. He battled for over two hour heads-up with Robert Hwang but ultimately took down Hwang with a very, very lucky King high and nothing more when Hwang missed his open-ended straight draw. Hsiung walks away with $165,205 and his first WSOP gold bracelet.

Have any of you started thinking about THE FINAL TABLE of the 2012 WSOP?  We know that the final poker table this year will take place in October instead of November because of the presidential election in November; so we’re already starting to predict who will make that table and we will be counting  Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi as a definite contender. Who is your favorite?
