The 50th Anniversary of the World Series of Poker is indeed moving fast and furious. Here is an update from our eyes and ears at the Rio Hotel and Casino. These event are done but there are still a lot more to go.

Event #1: The $500 Casino Employees Event Was taken down by Poker Dealer Nicholas Haynes, winning his first WSOP gold bracelet and a sweet $62,248 dollars to help him through the night.



Brian Green

Event #2
$10,000 Super Turbo Bounty Put away by Brian Green winning the first 2019 WSOP gold bracelet and his first bracelet along with $345,669.



Event 3 BIG 50 – $500 No-Limit Hold’em EVENT IN PROGRESS: 5 players remaining.


Derek McMaster

Event #4 $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Taken by Derek McMaster for $228,228 and his very own first WSOP gold bracelet.




Ben Heath

Event #5 High Roller – $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em Captured by Ben Heath taking home his career-best $1,484,085 paycheck plus his first gold bracelet.



Dan ZackEvent #6 $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw After an incredible comeback, Dan Zack claims his first bracelet and a very nice $160,447 to add to his account.



Event #7 $400 ONLINE No-Limit Hold’em Won by Yong “LuckySpewy1” Keun Kwon who laughs all the way to the bank with $165,263.


Event #8 $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold’em Still not played.


Jeremy Pekarek


Event #9 $600 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack Jeremy Pekarek collects lifetime-best $398,281 payday with this victory and picks up his first career WSOP bracelet.


Scott Clements


Event #10 $1,500 Dealers Choice Is now history and Scott Clements couldn’t be happier walking away with his 3rd gold bracelet and a very sweet $144,957 to party with.


Daniel Strelitz


Event #11 $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Daniel Strelitz claimed his first WSOP gold bracelet and stuffs his bank account with $442,385.


Daniel Park


Event #12 $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo Bounty Put away by Daniel Park for his first gold bracelet and $226,243 for his troubles.


Yuval Bronshtein


Event #13 $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Mastered by Yuval Bronshtein taking home $96,278 and his first gold bracelet.


So as of this report there have now been 11 bracelets and $3,754,084 dollars to line the winners’ pockets. But it is a long way from over.
