Normally I like to write my blogs about poker-related topics that interest me, and thus, hopefully, interest some of you as well. An exciting tournament (like the WSOP), a favorite poker super- star, a new poker movie, poker legislation and of course the Global Poker League have been featured among my numerous blog posts.

But every once in a while, I have to stop and remind myself what the Texas Poker Store is REALLY about. Because despite the value added by our (almost famous) TPS Blog, along with the bios and video clips of the great poker legends, the Texas Poker Store is about selling quality poker supplies at competitive prices and providing outstanding customer service to our customers. Yup, that’s right. It’s an online store, and like every other store, it’s about cutting a great deal for all the poker players out there . . .  as well as for us. With that in mind, I’m breaking with tradition in order to show you some of our best-selling poker tables. Who knows. . . they just might inspire you to become one of our many loyal fans and satisfied customers.

Currently our most popular table is our “Lumen” kidney shaped, 101.5 inches x 46 inches, 10 players plus dealer positions.

Basic price is $2,399.00 with free shipping. The table can be customized with your logo or name or whatever. Check it out at http://www.texaspokerstore.com/Lumen-Poker-Table

Each year the World Series of Poker (WSOP) crowns a Player of the Year (POY). I must admit that in the past, I haven’t paid much attention to who won, but this year was different. I knew my all-time favorite poker player, “Kid Poker” himself, was in the running; he entered the WSOP Europe in third place for the coveted title.

Daniel Negranu WSOP Player of the Year 2019Going into the Colossus, the final event of WSOP-E, the title was still up for grabs with four players vying for the POY title:  Daniel Negreanu, Robert Campbell, Shaun Deeb and Anthony Zinno.  In the end, however, with no one able to surpass his point total, Negreanu was crowned the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year.

The 2019 Player of the Year race included all open bracelet events of the 2019 calendar year, including events at the World Series of Poker at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas (May 28 – July 16) and WSOP Europe at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic (Oct 15-Nov 4).

One could say that Negreanu had himself a helluva good year.He cashed six times at WSOP Europe prior to the Colossus event and cashed an amazing 17 times at the WSOP in Vegas. But perhaps his favorite event of 2019 had little to do with poker.
Wedding Day for Daniel and Amanda
