The Octo Nine are ready to go for it all at the final table of the 2012 WSOP starting today, October 29 at 4:30 pst at the Penn and Teller Theatre in the Rio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jesse Sylvia, coming into the Octo Nine as the chip leader,  is sure to cause some waves of excitement. He has a commanding chip lead at 43,875,000. That is 14 million+ chips more than the second chip leader, Andras Koroknai, with 29,375,000, which of course, is way more than last place chip holder, Jeremy Ausmus, with only 9,805,000. However, as the song goes, “You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table.
There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealing’s done;” we know that very well from personal experience. Things can turn very quickly at any Texas Holdem poker table and chip leaders have been known to go all in at the wrong time and give up the chip advantage in the blink of an eye.
