Johnny Football raised the fear level of all Razorbacks when he came out blasting with two TD passes to Mike Evans in the first half. From there on the Fighting Texas A&M Aggies certainly played differently than what y’all may have been expecting, but it was a well plotted, intentional, carefully designed ground game, dependent on our ace running backs and the awesome Maroon Goons that proved too much for the Arkansas D to cope with, proving that the Aggies are a multidimensional offense that can adapt to whatever the circumstances might demand. Of course, it ended in an Aggie win of 45 – 33 over the now dejected and deflated Arkansas Razorbacks.

English teacher and swim coach at A & M Consolidated High School, Ryan Goodwyn, from College Station, Texas came closest first to predicting the final score, without going over, and wins a beautiful Texas A&M Neon Wall Clock to hang in the music room of their new home. Of course, if he wishes he can trade that prize in for poker chips or anything else of equal or lesser value from the Texas Poker Store. Congratulations, Coach Ry!

It’s almost here. Whether you call it the Game of the Season or the Great Showdown of 2013, or the most highly anticipated regular season game EVER, we all know that the Aggie vs. Bama game has preoccupied Nick Saban’s mind since Johnny Manziel and the Aggies sliced up the defense of his national championship team in Tuscaloosa. It’s the only blemish on his 2012 record and Saban wants to A.J. McCarron vs Johnny Football Manzielwipe that stain away and stop Johnny Football. For our part, we think that Kevin Sumlin is just as competitive as Saban –just in a cooler and more likeable way — and we also believe that nobody wants this win more than Manziel. Nobody. That’s why we’re all in for the Aggies.

There’s still time to get in your final score predictions. A.J. McCarron vs Johnny ManzielWhat a difference a year makes! As we begin SEC play for the 2013 Aggie football season, we also launch our annual Predict the Score Contest. And this year we’re leading off with the most highly anticipated football game in the country  ̶  the showdown between #6 Texas A&M Aggies and #1 Alabama’s Crimson Tide.  Between the spectacular Johnny Football and the incredible offensive weapons he has at his disposal and the out-for-revenge (but vehemently denying it) Nick Saban and his PROCESS. CBS is here getting their “Johnny Cam” ready to roll for their full game coverage. ESPN is here interviewing Coach Sumlin and setting up for another College Game Day from Aggieland. It’s a media frenzy, a fan frenzy and a Texas Poker Store frenzy.

Hey everyone!  Now that what many call the best weekend of pro football — the divisional playoffs — are over, we know that it will be the Baltimore Ravens vs. the New England Patriots playing for the AFC Championship  and the Atlanta Falcons battling the San Francisco 49’ers for the NFC Championship. That means there’s still time to make your prediction before the AFC and NFC championship games on January 20th.

As we told you, now that the odds are distinctly in your favor, there’s no longer a chance at the $200 gift prize. But you still have the opportunity to be tTPSchipshe first to correctly predict the two Super Bowl contenders, and the Super Bowl Champs for $100 worth of retail merchandise from the Texas Poker Store. Might as well take a shot and make a prediction. I’m putting my poker chips on the 49’ers taking it all after watching Colin Kaepernick run around like Johnny Football last week, but your bet is the one that counts!

All predictions must comply to our simple contest rules and must be made by clicking here
