What an incredible game it was between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas A&M Aggies. We had many of our customers and followers predict that the Aggies would crush the Hogs. “Big Daddy” Paul predicted that “Aggies make pulled pork BBQ out of the hogs 56 to 17.” We are certain all of you were on pins and needles as the giant Hogs not just held their own but forged ahead 21 to 14 at the half on a fake punt. They continued pushing the Ags around through the 3rd quarter to go ahead 28 to 14. Then, in the 4th the Aggies seemed to have licked their wounds and came out with a vengeance scoring two TDs to tie it up and send us into OT.
By this time we had already chewed our nails to the quick and anxiously watched as Kenny Hill drilled one to Malcome Kennedy who took it for 25-yards to score on the first play of overtime. Then, our defense stopped the piggies in their tracks and, with the help of Julien Obioha (who made an outstanding game-ending defensive stop), kept the Aggies undefeated with a 35-28 victory over Arkansas.
We want to congratulate Marcell Liner for predicting a 34-14 Aggie win, coming the closest first and thus winning a set of Copag “Peek-Index” poker cards from the Texas Poker Store.

The Aggies are back to conference play this Saturday as they roll into Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. And Arkansas plays “grown man’s football” as the saying goes; they line it up and run at you and this year they’ve been a power running team. This will be another huge test for the Aggie defense, which improved a lot last week against SMU’s passing attack and will be relying on the strength of Kirby Ennis, Julien Obioha and Steven Jenkins to hold that line.
Of course, if the Aggie offense is as dominating as we expect them to be, with Johnny Manziel getting off to another quick lead and Evans and Kennedy making those big catches when it counts, then the Razorbacks might have to throw more, which works in the Aggies favor. We believe the Aggies will be the road warriors that they were last season and come away with an impressive win.
