With Selection Sunday behind us and most everyone’s bracket already filled out, it should be a heck-of-a-lot easier to predict the Final Four than it was when we challenged you in our March 6th Texas Poker Store blog. In fact, a correct prediction at that point would have been based purely on luck, which is why we now know that, although luck can often help at the poker tables, it didn’t help any of our early predictors. None of them (we checked) can possibly be the winner.
That’s because the brackets tell us that if, for example, you put Kansas and Villanova (Southern bracket) or Virginia and Michigan State (Midwest bracket) as two of your final four, it would take more than luck to be the winner. In other words, it’s time to try again.
So now it’s really on! All you have to do is be the FIRST to make the correct FINAL FOUR prediction. Go with the 1 seeds or try one with a couple of longshots and maybe one with your favorite team going all the way. (With Texas A&M getting a #3 seed, I definitely have to include them in one of my Final Four predictions.) Submit as many as you want, but do it fast!
Remember, it’s only the person who is FIRST to predict the four teams to compete for a spot in the National Championship who will be declared the winner of our grand prize: our finest set of 500 Las Vegas clay composite casino-grade poker chips housed in an impressive heavy-duty black mahogany case.
